Discover the secret of the Amazon

Dr. Paul Underberg, grandson of the founder of the Underberg company, was a cosmopolitan man passionate about discovering and getting to know new cultures.
What fascinated him most was the healing power of herbs and plants from the Amazon region. In 1933, he settled in Rio de Janeiro and began producing the “Underberg of Brazil”. It was a unique Brazilian drink that quickly became a huge success and the favorite aperitif of Rio society.
Known today as “Brasilberg”, the drink entered the scene in German gastronomy.
