The remote connection is a control output, not an audio signal to be converted to RCA. Channel count, input limits, RCA output voltage, remote-output current rating and dimensions were not supplied; confirm these in the current ST6100 manual before installation.

Compatibility and Operating Modes

Intended for compatible factory head units without RCA or remote turn-on outputs, and compatible aftermarket players. Compatibility is not established for every vehicle or output topology. Have an installer verify the head unit's wiring and signal characteristics before connection.

The source states that the power harness is not required when the unit is used only as a noise filter. Do not assume this applies to audio-sensing remote generation or every conversion configuration. Follow the manufacturer's wiring instructions for the selected mode. Noise reduction depends on the installation; complete elimination of alternator noise or ground loops is not guaranteed.

Installation and Care

Have a qualified car-audio technician install the interface using the current wiring diagram.

Follow the vehicle manufacturer's safe power-isolation procedure before making connections.

Verify supply voltage, polarity, fuse requirements and remote-output capacity.
