Dclass Inbox 1000W RMS Amplifier Panel for Multiway Speakers

Bring amplification and sound adjustment into your multiway speaker project with the Dclass Inbox panel. This mono module is designed for compatible professional mid/high speaker enclosures, including powered-plus-passive companion setups for venues and installed sound.

Key Features

• Listed output of up to 1000W RMS at 4 ohms or 500W at 8 ohms.
• Balanced 1/4-inch and XLR inputs, each with independent volume control.
• Three-band EQ for bass, midrange and treble, with a listed 15dB adjustment range.
• XLR audio-link output and Speakon output for a passive companion speaker.
• Optical limiter and clipping indicator to assist signal-level management.
• 30Hz subsonic filter.

Speaker Compatibility

Designed for two-way enclosures, such as woofer plus high-frequency compression driver, or three-way enclosures with woofer, midrange driver and tweeter. Suitable professional crossover networks are required. The three-band equalizer is not a substitute for a driver crossover, and this mono amplifier does not establish independently amplified outputs for each driver.

For a powered-plus-passive companion arrangement, the supplied specification calls for an 8-ohm load in each of the two enclosures. Do not connect two 4-ohm enclosures in this arrangement. The minimum final load is 4 ohms; have a qualified technician verify the wiring and actual load before use.

Listed Technical Specifications

• Product designation: Dclass Inbox
• Amplification: Mono
• Output: Up to 1000W RMS at 4 ohms; 500W at 8 ohms
• Output-rating reference: 1kHz sine-wave signal
• Input sensitivity: Listed as 0dB; the reference standard is unspecified.
• Frequency response: Listed as flat from 30Hz to 30kHz; tolerance unspecified.
• Distortion: Listed below 0.10% at 75% of maximum power.

These figures come from the supplied product information and are not independent test results. The source recommends keeping the installed speaker power rating below 800W to retain amplifier headroom; this is not a universal matching rule or damage-prevention guarantee. Confirm suitability, gain and limiter settings with the manufacturer and installer.

Controls and Connections

• Illuminated power switch and operating indicator.
• Clip indicator, also described as indicating optical limiter activity.
• AC power inlet, AC power outlet for additional powered equipment and protective fuse.
• Balanced 1/4-inch input with independent volume control.
• Balanced XLR input with independent volume control.
• XLR signal-link output and Speakon passive-speaker output.

Installation and Care

Professional installation is recommended. The original listing warns against fixing the amplifier directly to an enclosure exposed to internal vibration and describes a separate wooden mounting compartment. Have a qualified installer confirm the required mounting arrangement, vibration isolation, ventilation and cutout against the current manual before modifying an enclosure. The listed panel dimensions are not packed shipping measurements.

• Supply voltage, mains frequency and current requirements were not provided. Verify the equipment label before connection; do not assume automatic dual voltage.
• Have an electrician verify grounding, circuit capacity and the AC outlet's permitted pass-through load before powering other equipment from it.
• Disconnect mains power before wiring, installation or servicing. Do not service internal circuitry yourself.
• Keep dry and maintain the ventilation required by the manufacturer.
• Reduce the input level if clipping is indicated. A limiter cannot guarantee freedom from distortion, overheating or speaker damage.
• Use hearing-safe listening levels and follow the current manufacturer's operating instructions.

This listing is for an amplifier panel/module. Speaker drivers, enclosures, crossover networks and installation accessories are not specified as included; confirm the supplied contents before ordering.
